Strange thing ... Working on a new pattern set - G-Stomper Studio.
General volume an all tracks a little low - want to use Linked Volume on Mixer to push all up.
Have used successfully in other pattern sets that needed tweaking.
New one i'm busy with is not working on the 1 bar basic pattern startup sequence.
It works fine on 4 bar parts made using the 1 bar sequence as a starting point...
The highest volume on pattern tracks is 70 ... On the 1 bar patterns I can take all volumes down and back to the 70 baseline volume - but I can't take volumes up.
Very odd as I can do linked Volume to tracks..
Any ideas why?
[NOT A BUG] Linked volume misbehaving ?
Re: [NOT A BUG] Linked volume misbehaving ?
Hi Riche
Thanks for your message.
This has nothing to do with the number of bars.
Please check all mixer channels. Depending on how many sampler and synth tracks you've activated in the settings, this might T01 up to T24 and VT01 up to VT12.
If at least one of the channels has volume = 100 already, you can't rise the other with linked volume.
The linked volume can only rise the mix until the highest channel reaches 100.
Find the channel that is on 100 already, lower it a bit, and then rise the mix using linked volumes.
This behavior is also explained in the docs at https://www.planet-h.com/gstomper/docs/ ... /part9.htm

**** Oooohh - Wow ****
Yes ... Spot on ... Yip I had the VT01 Synth volume at 100 - even though I was not using it...
... must have been fiddling ...
... As always exemplary support from Planet-H ...
Many thanks again for this amazing software tool - still my favorite for putting tracks together ...
