This new release brings Android M MIDI support to devices running on Android 6.0 and higher, including...
- USB Host (Android 3.1+): Connect USB MIDI equipment to G-Stomper
- BLE Host (Android 6.0+): Connect Bluetooth LE MIDI equipment to G-Stomper
- USB Peripheral (Android 6.0+): Connect G-Stomper as USB MIDI Peripheral/Extender to your host sequencer (PC, MAC, another Android/G-Stomper device, etc.)
- Experimental support for multiple concurrent MIDI Devices (Android 3.1+)
The new Android M based MIDI driver is way more flexible, it's faster, more precise and it's using less CPU. As a matter of course, the old Android 3.1 based MIDI driver remains for devices running on older Android versions and for NON-class-compliant MIDI hardware (the Android M MIDI connectivity strictly supports class-compliant MIDI equipment).
For further details, be sure to check out the updated MIDI Documentation.
