The Invert feature on the Sampler Note Grid is used to invert the Note Sequence of the currently selected Track. The Inversion is done by the Range between the lowest and the highest Note of the Sequence, and then turning every Note within that Range upside-down.
To invert only a part of the Sequence, first click the Edit Button to switch to the Edit mode.
Select the notes you want to invert. To do so, simply swipe with your finger over particular events.
Invert the selection.
And finally, to get back to normal mode, click the Edit button again.
