The Drum Sampler uses the regular Velocity in a range from 0..127 as well as a separate Accent Sequence to accentuate particular Steps. MIDI Note messages on the other hand only contain a Velocity value in a range from 0..127. In case of outgoing MIDI Notes, the Accentuation gets therefore transformed and merged with the regular Velocity.
Outgoing MIDI NoteOn events from the Drum Samplers always include the complete Velocity, which is a combination of the regular Velocity and the transformed Accentuation.
If the “Process incoming MIDI Velocity - Drum Sampler“ Setting is enabled (which is the default), incoming MIDI NoteOn events are transmitted including Velocity.
Disable the setting to ignore the incoming MIDI Velocity (and use max Velocity/127 instead).
