Pitch Risers

Postby karllost » Tue Jun 25, 2013 1:21 pm

To make a cool pitch rise effect, take a long tonal sample - a bass, saw, white noise or whatever and input it on step one. Engage the step mode and select step one and LOWER the pitch fader to its lowest setting. Select the last step and RAISE the pitch fader to its highest setting. Long click the sample button and select Auto Complete Modulation and choose Pitch - this will fill all the steps inbetween and create a nice pitch riser which can be augmented with delays, filters, reverb, phasers or whatever sounds good.
