Hi, me again
First of all - good job on the new update and a smooth design, finally
My problem occurs when using an external audio card (Zoom G3 (Guitar Multi-Fx) - i use it everyday and it works fully functional as a usb-audio-interface - so the interface itself is okay!) in combination with my device Asus Transformer Pad TF300 and the keyboard dock...
1.: connecting both devices via usb cable (that, too, is okay - tested it with other gear!)
2.: g-stomper recognizes that and opens itself (the "volume bar" of my tablet now seems to be deactivated!)
3.: when i play one of the samples (the initially loaded 909 rimshots) they are sounding through my interfaces output, but.... it sounds horrible, "glitchy", "crackling", like too much virtual instruments playing at the same time on a laptop/computer!
The interface supports 44100 as samplerate and my tablet is set to this, too.
Any changes in the settings that may help me, or other suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Cheers!

Re: Crackle/Glitchy Output when using ext. audio interface
Hey there,
tried it once more last night - and, it worked fine but i had to do it this way:
1.: connect both devices
2.: activate the flight-mode of the tablet
3.: shut down the tablet and start it again while both devices are still connected
4.: et voila: there it goes (without any crackling or other disturbing noise)
This is the only workaround for me. Maybe it can help!?!
Cheers

Hi taerundfehder
Finally I'm back in the office.
Can you please give me some more information about your system?
Device Brand/Model?
Android Version?
External Audio Interface Brand/Model?

1: Asus Transformer Pad TF300 + Keyboard Dock (with usb)
2: Android 4.2.1
3.: Zoom G3 multieffect (incl. audio interface)
that interface is working well with the tablet, normally
thanks!

Interesting, I've never heard about connecting usb audio interfaces to android without a native driver before. I'm going after that for sure.
Thanks for the info

I just didn't know that it was possible to use external audio interfaces on Android version older than Android L, I mean out of the box.
I know there are apps which allowed it since a while, but those implemented an own driver to make it possible, a piece of software which allowed the usage of usb audio interfaces, that's what I meant with "native driver". However, looks like I was wrong
