So I have a new Tablet and want to load all my "stuff" onto it.
As it is an Andriod 10 device I will copy all the folders from my current device to:
"/sdcard/Android/data/<app package name>/files/gstomper/usersamples/"
...That has worked nicely:)
My real question is this:
Do I have to reload all my sample packs from Google play?
I do realise the samples would be transferred by having copied the gstomper directory as mentioned above.
Is there any need to reload the packs from Google play?
If this was Microsoft Windows there may be registry updates or something.
I suspect I may not have to - please confirm
Loading G-Stomper Studio onto a New Device
Re: Loading G-Stomper Studio onto a New Device
Hi riche
The answer is yes and no.
Yes = for the new packs, later than v.3.0 (all packs currently listed on Google Play are 3+). These new packs do no longer "install". The sounds are used directly from the packs instead. Here is how the newer packs should be used: https://www.planet-h.com/gstomper/docs/ ... Packs.html
No = for the older packs, older than v.3.0 (if you own them, you can still install them from Google Play, and they would still install in /sdcard/gstomper). These older packs can just be copied over to the new storage location.
