Re: PATTERN HOLD toggle button on the Pattern Set Screen
The name... How about LOCK ALL, or LOCK ALL SETTINGS, or LOCK SOUNDS. Today, I would probably choose LOCK SOUNDS. "To keep the original pattern while a pattern is selected in the pattern set and then changed during runtime would required to copy the pattern (instead of just using it) when you h...

Re: PATTERN HOLD toggle button on the Pattern Set Screen
D'oh! "LOCK" is a better term than HOLD or any of my others! And yes, Lock Master is very relevant here. It's one of those things, where I was thinking "I wish GSS did this", and it already does. :-) planet-h: "Theoretically this would be possible, but not with being locked ...

PATTERN HOLD toggle button on the Pattern Set Screen
Firstly, unlike midi import, I don't think anyone else has, or will ever request this! :-O But I do believe once they have played with it, lots of people would use it, and possibly even love it. Especially people with midi controllers, or users wanting to alter the whole sound of a song live and dir...

Re: 8 bar pattern skipping forward after 1 bar
And I forgot to say, thank you for clearing this up. I'll send you a link to my song once I've done the vocals and guitar. Currently, version 037!

Re: 8 bar pattern skipping forward after 1 bar
Ah, so it probably wasn't A3, but the following step, which I will have double clicked. I figured it was probably a bit more likely to be something I did, a feature, not a fault. And that does make complete sense, if you are able to create and replicate a song by recording a performance. If you are ...

Re: 8 bar pattern skipping forward after 1 bar
Seems like the problem was in the song structure, not A3. Tried editing A3, choosing a different pattern, etc, with no effect. Then removed all the song steps back to before the problem, and it seems fine. Could send you the file if you're interested? My big suspicion is that I was reducing pattern ...

8 bar pattern skipping forward after 1 bar
Got a strange one, and I don't know if it's a bug, or a feature I don't know about that's making things behave this way. I created a song with 29 patterns. On the third time, and subsequent times, that A3 plays, pretty far into the song, it just plays the first bar of an 8 bar pattern, then skips on...

Re: Sfz Import
On OSC2 swap or import, this would be a cool little thing, but I'm not too worried about it. And I can confirm that not all people use embedded files. Them things is big! I'm up to version 024 of one of my songs, which is 3.2MB linked, and 38.4 embedded. I've got 26 different songs and doodles. You ...

Re: Sfz Import
Swap OSC1 <=> OSC2 more than covers it. In fact, it would be better. The import function currently seems to erase the current OSC2 PCM setup. I don't think it's the most important thing, but yes please! :-D On copyright and files. Yes, I can completely understand. Some companies play fast and loose ...
