15.5.5 Tapping the playing Pattern in Song Mode + Chain Mode while no chain exists‌


While jamming live while having Chain Mode activate, with or without Song Mode activated, it often occurs that no active chain is running. In this case you either just loop one Pattern (in case Song Mode is OFF), or you’re playing a song arrangement (in case Song Mode is ON).


In this situation, the two Chain Methods, classic and enhanced (see chapter: Chain Methods), behave differently when you tap the currently playing Pattern.


Note: The explained behavior only applies in case no active Pattern Chain exists.
