5.5.5 Velocity‌

Velocity is used to add dynamics to your drum sequences (sample level). (see also Chapter: Accent)

The Velocity allows you to set a sample level from 1 up to 127 for each Step indepentently. This gives you a much wider range of dynamics than Accentuation, but it can be more time consuming to apply the levels in some situations.

In short: You define an independent velocity (playback) level per step.

On the Drum Machine, when you enable Velocity, the 16 steps turn into 16 Velocity sliders.

Once enabled, use the sliders to adjust the level of each (enabled) step (default: 127).

Note: Click the LED below a slider to show its current value (without the risk of changing it).
