drums
Are there drums in va beast or do I need studio?
Re: drums
Welcome to the forum, darrenmason
It depends on what you mean with "drums".
The VA-Beast is a pure Synth with the ability to also create PCM (sample) based sounds.
Its factory library contains 3 GM drum kits (in PCM based presets).
You can create simple drum loops in the synth's poly grid sequencer, even though that's not what the synth is meant for.
But as the VA-Beast is a pure standalone synth, it does not come with a drum machine.
If you want the extensive drum machine and the synth in one app, then you should look at G-Stomper Studio or G-Stomper Producer. Which of these is the right app for you depends on what you want to do with it, and how you want to do it.
If you want Drum Machine, and only a Drum Machine, then get G-Stomper Rhythm.
If you want a full featured Groovebox Workstation like an Korg ESX paired with a massive synth, then get G-Stomper Studio.
If you want a production workstation more in the direction of Ableton Live, but with the same instruments as in G-Stomper Studio, then get G-Stomper Producer.
For a longer answer please read this topic:
studio <> producer
Here is the feature comparison chart of the G-Stomper apps.
