Welcome to the forum methodzx860.

On the main screen, just enable the 'note ed' switch (turns purple).
If the note edit mode is enabled, the 16 step buttons at the bottom of the screen act as piano roll, therefore are the black squares on the steps (the half tones).

There's also a small piano roll on the note grid (click 'select view' and choose 'note grid' to show up). But this one is just to prelisten the tones before adding them to the grid, it does not record anything.

So what are the other things? Just feel free to ask..

if the note edit mode is enabled (note ed button), press on the steps, the 16 buttons at the bottom of the screen and you hear the sound of the current track in the different tones. What sound you hear depends on your sound selection, the "piano roll" is just the functionality to press the keys for the different notes, but not the piano sound.

There is an e-piano sample pack on google play, which provides e-piano samples:

Also is there a setting which allows you to press multiple keys at a time ?

On the piano keys? Not yet, for now it's monophonic, but this will come in some future release (together with the synth I guess).

A good resource to get specific information about nearly everything in G-Stomper, is the PDF UserManual. If you find time, give it a look:

Open the pack installer app, then inside the app, press install. Then open g-stomper and long click one of the tx buttonson the main screen. Choose 'select sample' from the menu, then scroll down and look for the pack folder..browse it and prelisten the samples by clicking it.

It's an E-Piano pack. It does not contain real piano sounds. Sorry
