Is it possible to make 5/4 and 7/8 rythms with G-Stomper Rythm?

Postby molul » Tue Apr 26, 2016 3:10 pm

I've tried the app for a while and can't seem to find where to set the number of steps for rythms other than 4/4, like 3/4, 5/4, 6/8, etc. Is it possible? And if it's not currently possible, is it planned for the future?

It is possible. All the timing related settings are located in the Timing & Measure section.
In the toolbar on top, press "View", then select "Timing & Measure".

On the Timing & Measure screen, set the following values for...

4/4: (this is the default)
Time Signature = 16
Steps per Bar = 16
Length in Bars = (it's up to you)

3/4:
Time Signature = 16
Steps per Bar = 12
Length in Bars = (it's up to you)

or... if you're looking for a triplet beat.

Time Signature = 8 Tri
Steps per Bar = 12 (or 9 if you want only 3 beats per bar)
Length in Bars = (it's up to you)

5/4:
Time Signature = 16
Steps per Bar = 4
Length in Bars = 5

6/8:
Time Signature = 32
Steps per Bar = 8
Length in Bars = 6

7/8:
Time Signature = 32
Steps Per Bar = 8
Length in Bars = 7

Hope that answers your question

Thank you. I found it yesterday evening after playing a bit more with the app, and I purchased the key to remove ads and support the developers.

Now this is everything I wanted, and also being able to add my own samples is awesome. I've been using drum machines from Korg and Boss and G-Stomper is quite better than anything I've used before. Congratulations :)
