Native Instruments Maschine Mk1/Mk2 or Mikro Mk2 as MIDI Controller

Postby Mitternachtsflimmer » Thu May 14, 2020 7:02 am

It is possible to use the Maschine Mikro Mk2 with G-Stomper Studio/Producer?

It is possible to use the Maschine Mk1/Mk2 together with something like the TIE MIDI 1i1o with G-Stomper Studio/Producer?

Theoretically, yes, as the Maschine Mikro MK2 can be switched from and to MIDI mode using "Shift + F1"
More details here: https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/210264145-How-to-Switch-Your-Native-Instruments-Controller-to-MIDI-Mode
However, as I have no Maschine Mikro MK2 here to test with, I cannot give you any guarantee.
The only way to find out is to test it in your local store.

No, you can't.
The TIE MIDI 1i1o is a USB to MIDI DIN, and the Maschine Mikro MK2 has no MIDI DIN connectors. I'ts pure USB.
