Use bluetooth alphanumeric keyboard as piano keyboard ?

Postby mark_orion » Wed Sep 06, 2017 1:06 pm

I am new to G-Stomper studio and already love it. My question is if it is possible to use an ordinary alphanumeric bluetooth keyboard as piano keyboard for playing ? I am aware of the built-in touchscreen keyboard. They work great, but I prefer the haptic guidance of real physical keys.

You can use any kind of MIDI keyboards, controllers or drum pads, either over USB OTG or, if you're on Android 6 or higher, over Bluetooth LE.

Regular alphanumeric keyboards are not supported for real-time control, as these are not in any way optimized for precise timing.
