So on caustic, if you make a song, and save it as default, it will bring up whatever you had in that song file every time you make a new song. Is there anything like that for g stomper?

Yes, in G-Stomper you can save a 'custom initial pattern', which is used each time you create a new pattern set, a new pattern or if you clear a patter.
