I think this is a vary good idea!
With the factory setup of the Midimix controller the bank left send the message CH1-25-127 and bank right CH1-26-127 as note on/off. But it is also possible to change it with the included windows software (note or CC).
Maybe we are now at a point to move this to a feature request ;)
Regards

Just moved it to "Feature Requests".
Thanks a lot for the details about the sent MIDI messages. That's very helpful.
At the moment, the development of the sequencer core for the new composer app takes the whole capacity.
But I'll have a deeper look once I get some time frame.

Say some magic words and everything is done ;)
Ofcourse this takes some time. And we are looking forward to see the next professional app. It will be a composer app? Great!

Yes, that is the plan.
It will be the missing link between the G-Stomper Studio Groovebox workflow and the traditional way of composing.
It will import G-Stomper files, patterns or maybe also pattern sets (not defined yet).

planet-h wrote:A maybe possible solution for G-Stomper Studio and family would be do allow multiple mapping banks while having a quick access to them through an interface inside the apps, e.g. by a new set of buttons (in the apps) to step through the defined mapping variations.
Such buttons could then theoretically be mapped (in some global way) to MIDI CC values or even to Note events.

just want to say this feature would be great! The greater the MIDI possibilities, the better :)
