I would love to have the Mod envelope and the LFO on the Synth be able to control the pitch its hard to use the lever precisely and constantly.

You can do that already. Just choose "OSC 1+2" as target for the LFO or MOD Env. This will control the OSC frequences, or in other words, the Pitch.
