Can you be a bit more specific?
What exactly do you want to do?
And what is the actual result?
.... using which app?

If you just want to sync MIDI hardware using Ableton Link, it is strongly recommended to use the Link to MIDI Bridge app as MIDI clock master.

All I want to do (at the moment ) is have G-Somper running in Sync on both my Phone and Tablet.
(So Ableton link would be overkill)
Cable connect would be far better...
I sometimes get sound stopping when loading a new Pattern set while playing - So I thought having a second G-Stomper running and play something on phone G-Stomper while loading a new pattern set on my Tablet.

I cant seem to get my phone and Tablet linked via midi using USB cable and OTG Plug ...
I can give you more details later perhaps ...
The problem lies in my Tablet I think - both devices see each other - Phone reported as Phone model - Tablet is reported as a USB Peripheral device (or something like that)...

The sound stopping while loading may of course be transmitted to 2nd device so may be a bad plan - all just an Idea.
Presently I use a paddy keyboard sound (un-linked and independent device) as a background filler when loading pattern sets.
(nothing worse that sudden silence at the wrong time)

In reality, it's exactly the opposite. Syncing two Android devices over MIDI clock cannot and will never be as stable as Ableton Link (caused by the technical nature of MIDI clock sync of software sequencers).
Ableton Link on the other hand has been built for exactly that purpose.
Therefore it's always the better choice.
It's much more stable than MIDI clock ever will be and its setup is so much easier, as it requires zero configuration (apart from the wifi network).

Try Ableton Link, you'll see, it covers exactly what you need. And even if one device has a drop out at some point (for whatever reason), Link will handle it and bring it back to sync.
Once you've used it, you'll never look back, trust me. It's so much better for synchronization than MIDI clock.

Excellent... You saving me tons of time messing with midi - an old protocol - Great I will get a wifi Lan...

May even help with another of my problems mentioned on another thread - my 4 core tablet needing sample rate lowered to avoid occasional stutter.
So could I use my 8 core Sony phone as my main audio output and tablet as a controller for pattern set triggers and mixer as it is nice with portrait multiple controller interface (both running G-Stomper)...

I've answered those questions directly in your other thread.
