40 BPM

Postby TomVal » Sat Dec 06, 2014 5:24 pm

Hello,

standard metronomes range from 40 to 208 BPM, some gadgets offer 32 BPM, or even 10 BPM. It would be nice if G Stomper could do 40 BPM

Hi TomVal
This was already discussed in a previous thread http://www.planet-h.com/gstomperbb/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=274
32bmp is on the task list now.
If it's possible I'll go down to 15

Sorry for duplicate post, but as you can see, tempo 60 might be too high for some occasions, and there are some musicians who might need such slow speeds (e.g. for slower autofills)

No problem at all;).
And yes, absolutely agree that lower bpm is required.

Since it's only a minor change, it'll be probably possible to apply it with the upcoming hotfix release.
At the end, the only point with lower bpm is the memory consumption of the delays (which have to be syncable in every possible tempo).
Lowering the tempo to 30 means in fact to double the memory consumption of the delays (but as far as I see, this is no longer a problem, since the devices got stronger and stronger)

G-Stomper 4.0.4 allows bpm down to 30 and went live in this moment.
