30 bpm? 20 bpm?

Postby dyadyalyonya » Tue Nov 25, 2014 6:47 pm

Hello, I use g-stomper for my drum exercises (by the way, thank you for your answer about my flam question!).

Minimal tempo available in g-stomper is 60 bpm. Most of my exercises is one bar patterns (no more than 16 steps). I am not a good drummer and complicated 16-step pattern at 60 bpm is too fast for me :)

I know, that I can use "timing measure" feature to rewrite my 16-step pattern to 32-step patten or 64-step pattern and solve this problem. But it is so inconvinient and time consuming :( When I play at rehearsal room every minute is very important to me.

Is it possible to decrease minimal tempo in g-stomper to 30bpm or maybe 15bpm?
Maybe as a very special option deep in setup menu.

Anyway, thank you for your great application.

Thank you for your feedback, dyadyalyonya.
The reason why the min tempo is at 60bpm are the syncable delay effects, which are currently limited to 1000ms (1sec). Reducing the the min bpm to 30 would mean to double up the delay buffers, which is a an issue of memory. The good, meanwhile the devices are definitely more powerful, and provide more memory, so there's definitely a good chance to get this change running. I'll see what I can do.

I know;)
If it's possible to change it, it'll be 30bpm
