Multiple assignments of the same pattern to song editor

Postby jm108 » Sun Jul 28, 2013 2:45 pm

I think it would be pretty nice if you could assign multiple cases of the same pattern to the song editor.

So say you have a pattern with most of your stuff in it, you're ready to make a song.... instead of (like you do now) needing to create a bunch of patterns (my method is say... newsong-1 newsong-2 newsong3 newsong-4 newsong-5 ... etc) you could play in the mixer and have one permeatation of the pattern and assign it, then unmute and mute some instruments and assign another, do it again and assign another, etc etc etc. Right now if you try to do this it just replaces the first pattern you assigned to the editor with the second and so on.

Also some roland packs (TB303, SH101, MC202) that aren't drums would be nice.

I know what you mean. Btw, you don't need to name all the patterns, you can just copy them on the pattern set screen. Long click a slot and choose copy pattern. Does this makes it easier?
