It took forever to upload this and unfortunately the second upload failed. No matter the next post will be a complete EP.

http://beforetheriots.bandcamp.com/album/vedanta-ep

Features only VA synth and the Inferno EDM pack.

I hope to have another remix soon.

Thank you Andreas for the Autosave and autoload, that feature alone made this track and many more to come a possibility.

I've been listening to a lot of Massive Attack and Tricky. I like those dreamy trip hop beats so I start tracks by making an ambient foundation using rendered VA samples playing at different pitches and timbres in the patternset. I bounced that to a track, enabling long sample overlap, made some settings in the master and fx for all slots and then set up the beats in the second bank. I hope to repeat the process for a third or possibly fourth layer of sounds.

Hey Lucid
Sounds crystal clear and very deep. I love the used sounds, samples and synths.
Very nice track... even if it's not my genre (my heart pounds for the hard-style stuff ;) )

Thank you for pushing me to integrate it ;) It was more than worth the effort.

I'm doing some stuff in the 180 bpm range, but I hope you like ambient because with the Synth I'm planning to release a lot of experimental stuff to go with it.

Slightly off thread topic but the patternset play modes I must inquire:

Chain mode:

- single tap: yellow, simple, pattern advances at end of last measure
- double tap: blue, trigger next pattern at bar 1
- triple tap: green, advance next pattern at next bar, for example bar 3 playing pattern advances to bar 4 next pattern

I have a problem with the blue double tap. Because say I have a 4 bar pattern and I want to trigger a new pattern for variation or to correct a timing issue during live recording. It sounds like it works during live play but listening to the recording, what i hear is instead of advancing after bar 2 it advances after bar 1.

In this track I attempted to make use of the blue double tap but it didn't produce the desired effect. It does however make use of the triple tap and you can hear it at the mid-song breakdown.

Can we have the described effect, a retriggering at the end of the played measure, it would be very useful for rhythmic variation, and filter sweeps, which I used here.

I should send you the patternset via dropbox. First I have to remove some redundant samples to get it down to size.

There is actually an issue with the advanced pattern changes when recorded in song mode.
But it never replaces a double tap (blue) with a triple tap (green).
The known issue is that in live mode you can triple tap at the third bar for example, but in song mode during playback it always jumps out at the end of the first bar.
A fix for this is on the todo list.

It's a cool feature... Especially when you want that random chaotic breakdown, really interesting at a high bpm, or with long overlapping synth harmonies.
