Re: Sfz Import

Actually, if there's one thing, it would be the ability to import SFZs into oscillator 2! Something I discovered is if you have a complex and percussive piano thing on OSC1 and something different like a clear sounding triangle on OSC2, and sweep between them with the OSC mixer, it can just be a won...

Re: Sfz Import

Don't know about others, but it really isn't a problem for me. I move the old song files to an 'old versions' folder, which you can move to external easy enough. Song files with linked samples are only about 2MB. On import of sf2, I was initially "NO SF2? WHAT? EVERYTHING'S IN SF2!". But w...

Re: Changing patterns

Just to add, it's brilliant how GSS handles mutes - That the notes keep playing after you press mute or stop, or with long notes sustaining after the pattern ends. It is so, so much more musical than other approaches found in some mobile DAWs I could mention. :-)

Re: midi files

I think any kind of midi import would be appreciated by those users trying to import songs from another DAW. Maybe import 8 bars into the current pattern starting at a specified bar in the midi file. Channels 1-13 go to VA 1-12. Maybe channel 10 from the midi from c1 to b2 to go into the sampler tra...

Re: Sfz Import

I had written this to add on to the midi import request, but it makes more sense here. I do love the SFZ import. Most soundfonts are sf2, not sfz, and you get little things like dual mono samples, so you usually have to play around with them a bit first. But it just works brilliantly, all the key ma...

Re: midi files

Astrodynamics - If you are thinking of buying,, things sometimes don't work like a DAW, and it can be hard to get past this just on the demo. Things like... instead of being able to create a 1 bar clip playing alongside an 8 bar clip, you get auto clone bars to replicate that 1 bar across the other ...

VA Beast Keyboard Transpose

I know, it's me again! Is there any chance of a transpose on the VA Beast Keyboard? Ideally saved with the song, so you could load a song and start playing, rather than going off into settings. Ideally on the Keyboard screen, maybe on those blank bits of screen bottom left, or within the pitch bend ...

Re: moog filter

I love the moog low pass, it's my default filter. I think there are probably perfectly good moog filters in VST and AU already. But the important stuff is how the filter interacts with LFOs, envelopes, etc. Static, it's going to be a lot less funky. A VA Beast VST or AU might make some sense, but it...

Re: Lots of feature resuests in one big post!

I was thinking *ideally* if there was an option to turn it off. I definitely found with 1GB RAM, stuff runs slowly and closes down all the time. 2GB RAM makes all the difference, you can have a load of things switchable at once before Android starts automatically killing things. Must be hard grappli...

Re: Lots of feature resuests in one big post!

From What's New: "G-Stomper Studio 5.6.1.7 Release Notes: Reduced battery usage: The app now terminates itself if in background for more than 5 minutes and all active background processes are completed" THIS! If there is an option to turn this off, or ideally, if you could set it an optio...
