Re: va-beast: tablet reeboots when midi keyboard connect
I'm going after that. It definitely has something to do with the "by intent" hookup, the functionality that allows to choose the app for the midi device before it's started. RD4 does it the same way. Furthermore it could also be that the problem is on some of these other apps. Since most o...

Re: Audio Clicks on Galaxy Nexus 7
I guess, you're talking about G-Stomper Beat Studio 3.0, right? there is still some kind of a click (only) when switching between view This means, that the cpu drain is too much for your device. It also strongly depends on your android version, the early 4.0.x releases were still very cpu intensive ...

Re: Sidesweep for presets VA-Beast
It went directly to my task list for version 3.1;) Yes think that it would be better if you could sideswipe or similar to reach the different presets as you can have the sequencer going and at the same time hearing the sound with melody for example playing at the same time... Actually you can do thi...

Re: MIDI Implementation
The current midi implementation is quite simple, but it will be increased with the upcoming releases. In G-Stomper Beat Studio 3.0 the implementation is as followed: G-Stomper does not send, it only receives messages (for now). Currently supported messages: Note ON/OFF, Velocity, Mod Wheel, Pitch Be...

Re: va-beast: tablet reeboots when midi keyboard connect
Hey Scott Just one more question, maybe that helps to reproduce the behavior on my devices. What usb midi enabled apps are you using beside the VA-Beast Synthesizer? RD4? Caustic? Anything else? Maybe somehow they get in conflict with each other. When you send me a list, then I can check if I can re...

Re: va-beast: tablet reeboots when midi keyboard connect
Thank you for the explanation.
Would be interesting to know what happens if you just do a fresh boot of your device, and then, afterwards, connect and choose va-beast.
Did you try to start the va-beast first and connect then, once it's started? What happens then?

Re: Sidesweep for presets VA-Beast
Thanks for your feedback Frank. How about the preview button in the preset loading dialog? Doesn't this do the job? Or do you mean just something to step through directly on the synthesizer view? Maybe some kind of drop down (or spinner as it's called in android)..? I was thinking about that already...
