15.5.2 Chain Method: Classic‌

In classic mode (which is the default), you can chain all sort of pattern change types, also advanced pattern changes (see chapter: Advanced Pattern Changes).

What you cannot do in classic mode is to chain pattern repeats. (for repeats, see chapter: Chain Method: Enhanced)

Simply tap each slot once or multiple times to add the pattern slots to your chain.

While building a chain, you can, of course, reuse pattern slots that you have already used in the chain.

Note: In classic mode, when you create a chain in stopped state, and then start the playback, the chain always starts with currently selected pattern, and then continues with the first element of the chain.
