Thanks for the hint, phap. Even if I'm not a big fan of randomize functions (I rarely use them), I think randomizing the velocity in some way could be very useful.
Seems to be a very minor change in the code.
I'll do some tests with that soon and see how the results will be.

I can now confirm that the velocity randomizer will be part of the next beta release.
In the same move you'll get a new 'random automation' feature for all sliders with automation support.
