A Track Pattern Set can contain max 64 Patterns (4 banks of 16), which can be switched by tapping one of the 16 Pattern slot buttons. To switch between the banks click on A, B, C or D.
The highlighted (or selected) Pattern Slot tells you which Pattern is currently active (and played if the sequencer is running). This is the Pattern you edit on the Detail Pages of the associated Track.
